Review: Steel vs. Eagle (Thunders Arena)

The most recent Steel vs. Eagle meeting from Thunders Arena doesn't need a ton of explanation, but I'll give it to you anyway. That is what I do around here. You should know the guys and the action follows a classic Thunders model. I think you'll know if you're going to like this by the end of this post, if you don't already.

Big boys have fun.

Eagle disappeared for a minute, but he finished 2017 with some new videos. To my eye, the tattooed stud is looking bigger than ever. Eagle has always had thick muscles, but now he's just incredibly solid. Like a giant redwood. With muscles. Okay, maybe not like a redwood. Anyway, his legs are the star here as he gets a lot of opportunities to flex them.

Steel is also big, but more V-shaped with massive shoulders, pecs, arms and legs and a narrow midsection for his size. I notice he's been filling out his tiny briefs a little more lately, perhaps fluffing a little (or maybe the garage was cold). It definitely wasn't cold here as he sweats up a storm, glistening as day turns to night.

Looking good.

Steel's unreal proportions.

Eagle's huge!

This Steel vs Eagle battle is a video of trading holds, rather than a match. Two big muscle studs spend the 17-minutes flexing, punishing and suffering. And they do it all well. This isn't their first encounter (I reviewed that here) and I think it shows. They bring an easy, smooth chemistry to the back patio, even as they posture to show their superiority. It's all fun (until one guy accuses the other of cheating).

I like both these guys a lot, so watching them play around is entertaining. There's no real point to it, other than two big musclemen showing off their power, using each other as wrestling dummies. It's what we've been taught to believe happens at the Thunders house. Musclemen hang out in tight trunks then wrestling ensues. I'm willing to believe (i.e., dream about) that.

Eagle's a lot of man to lift, but Steel's strong.

Sweaty and selly, Steel's terrific.

Scissors rule the day.

These powerful musclemen each get their moments, using simple power moves to earn sexy suffering from the victim. With the sweat and pumped, flexing muscles, you really get the feeling that they're applying some good pressure here. The kind that might crush us normal mortals. And when they're on the receiving end, they both play up the pain of being squeezed really well.

Scissors using their ridiculously thick legs are the preferred holds. The scissor bodies and heads in standing, sitting and lying down positions. There are a few other moves, including bearhugs, some body work, a sleeper and an over-the-knee backbreaker, too.

Steel takes it to Eagle's big body.

Is Steel the one who goes out?

Or is Eagle the one who's grounded?

In the end, this is a classic Thunders-style bodybuilder battle. It's like a series of punishment vignettes that really showcase the legs. Eagle and Steel have a good rapport. I found this very watchable and very enjoyable, but just go in knowing what it is.

What are other bloggers saying?

So that's my take. What's yours?

Alex

  1. I found this match to be even better than their first encounter in Vegas, which was marred by too much light from the camera looking up into the overcast sky, shaky camerawork, and strange cutaway scenes to White Tiger (why would Thunders focus on anyone else when two of their best stars were finally facing each other?!) With this match, the focus is solely on two of Thunders' best performing (and best-looking!) wrestlers. The two men seem to have a good rapport, and I'd love to see more matches between them in the garage and in the ring.

And you're absolutely right, Alex: The first thing that came to mind when I watched this video was "How does Eagle keep getting BIGGER?!" I'm not a fan of the new leg tattoo, but Eagle is so awesome that I'm able to look past all the ink. It was a highly enjoyable match between two of the very best performers in all of underground wrestling!

    1. Appreciate you sharing your thoughts. Yeah, I called their first meeting strange and weird, due to the cutaways, the odd look and the action. This is very direct and an example of what Thunders is best known for - two big muscle bros trading holds at the frat house.

I've heard getting tattoos can be addictive. Eagle might need an intervention.

  2. Steel is such a baby face though lol. Even with his Terminator impression we all know he is a baby face. Lol. I mean that in the best of ways. Like he made Esgle feel and look like a villain! Not sure that's the intention here, but that's my take! Lol

    1. Thanks for the comment. Steel definitely has a casual approachability in his videos, even when he's dominating. It's one of the things I've liked about him. I remember some commenters wanted him to be an unstoppable muscle monster, but that's just not who he seems to be. He seems like a good guy who'll go along with anything.
